This time, the company is collaborating with the Bahtera Dwipa Abadi Foundation (YBDA) on a program to build a Mechanical Embankment in Sungai Simbar Village, Kateman District, Inhil, Riau. To show its genuine concern for others and its commitment to supporting public health, PT Pulau Sambu in Guntung, along with the Bahtera Dwipa Abadi Foundation (YBDA), successfully held a mass blood drive on Saturday, August 9, 2025. The event, which took place at the PT Pulau Sambu Pratama Clinic in Guntung, was met with high enthusiasm from employees and the surrounding community and managed to collect 274 bags of blood ready to be distributed to save lives.

Sambu Group, a Domestic Investment Company (PMDN), through its business unit PT Riau Sakti United Plantations (PT RSUP) located in Pulau Burung District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau, has been officially designated as a National Vital Industrial Object. This status was granted through a Ministry of Industry Decree on September 5, 2024.

PT RSUP was recognized for its strategic role, which means it will receive special attention from the state regarding security and protection. This led to its designation as a National Vital Industrial Object. One of the initial steps taken is the installation of National Vital Industrial Object signs at strategic locations around the company's sites. "This is to raise awareness among all stakeholders, as well as a joint effort to oversee the implementation of the company as a National Vital Industrial Object," said Dwianto Arif Wibowo, Sambu Group's Corporate Communication Manager.

PT RSUP produces various coconut-derived products, such as packaged coconut milk and others. These products are considered basic necessities for the public, making the continuity of their distribution very important. The company adds value to strategic natural resources, transforming coconuts into high-value-added goods and generating prosperity for the local community.

PT RSUP fulfills essential needs for the public's welfare and controls the livelihood of many. By employing more than 10,000 workers and being a major industry and plantation operating in the Pulau Burung area, the company's presence creates a new economic ecosystem, spurs the growth of supporting industries, and improves the overall standard of living for the community.
