Sambu Group gave Eid Biscuit on Kateman District, Indragiri Hilir, Riau

Sambu Group along with Yayasan Bahtera Dwipa Abadi (YBDA) continues this happy tradition. Sambu Group and YBDA gave Eid biscuits around the business location of the factory in Indragiri Hilir and also in the head office (Jakarta). Eid biscuits were distributed to mass around the corporate operation. This event is started from March until the beginning of April 2024. More than 15.000 cans of Eid biscuits are distributed to Kuala Enok, Pulau Butung, and Sungai Guntung and also to Penjaringan, North Jakarta. "Eid biscuit distribution is a commitment of Sambu Group and YBDA whose target is the people around the company," said A. Ginting, Public Relations of Sambu Group. "By sharing the biscuits, we are hoping to share happiness with the masses to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr," Ginting said.

Kara Win Indonesia Customer Satisfaction Achievement Award 2024 from SWA and Business Digest

Focus on consumer satisfaction in the digital era, KARA succeeded in getting the Indonesia Customer Satisfaction Achievement Award 2024 (ICSAA 2024) for the coconut oil category in a "Good" predicate. This award entangles a survey from 5.000 respondents in 6 towns, such as Medan, Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, and Makassar. ICSAA 2024 is given by Zeta Saraswati as Business Director at SWA Media Group on Tuesday, March 26th to Dwianto Arif as Corporate Communication Manager Sambu Group. For information, Sambu Group is the producer of KARA. "This award is an appreciation to all of the coconut ecosystem in Indonesia and also for the loyal consumers of KARA. Our various innovations have to collaborate and also adapt to characteristic changes and consumer needs. Thank you for trusting KARA," Dwianto Arif said.

As a part of Sambu Group, PT Riau Sakti United Plantations div. Industry or we can call it PT RSUP (Industry) also livens the month of K3 (Safety and Work Health) up. Several activities are held to celebrate it. Starting on February 29^th, the event is ended on March, 3^rd 2024.

The activities mentioned above such as cleaning contest through K3 foundation (5S: Seiri/Sort, Seiton/Straighten, Seisa/Sweep and Clean, Seiketsu/Systemize, and Sgutsuke (Standardize). Besides, RSUP (Industri) also held volleyball competitions, marathon races, exercises, had breakfast together, and did a ceremony. Through this event, hopefully, all of the members who is involved get a knowledge of the importance of K3 in daily life, so it could be useful and decrease the work accidents in the company.

Along these activities occurred, Subdistrict Head Pulau Burung, Supiansyah Spi, Iptu Delni atma Saputra, SH, MH as Kapolsek Pulau Burung, Kapten Uwin Suharto as Danramil Pulau Burung, Pulau Burung Village Head, Head of Pulau Burung’s Lblic Health Center, and also other relations from Sambu Group.

In early 2024, Kara won the Top Brand award for two categories, which are: ready-to-use packaged coconut milk and nata de coco. With this award, Kara proves its consistency in maintaining the best quality of its product to serve in Indonesian market. This award is given by Handi Irawan, CEO of Frontier Group and co-founder of Top Brand Indonesia in SKY at AYABA Resort, Jimbaran, Bali on Wednesday, February 28^th, 2024.

As a company that cares about occupational health and safety / Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3), PT Pulau Sambu (Kuala Enok) held several activities. This memorial will be held for 1 month from January until February 2024. Several events such as Occupational Safety and Health Environment / Lingkungan, Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (LK3) Quiz per Department, KL3 Inspection, Recycle Competition per Department, and Open House with the theme “Let’s Care of LK3 in the Living Environment”. This event was also done for Public High School 1 Tanah Merah. There are two contests which are Poster Competitions and Info Board Decorating Competitions. The peak event is held on February, 27^th 2024. On that day, a parade was held and continued with healthy exercise with the local community. Then, there was a tree planting around the PT Pulau Sambu (Kuala Enok) location. Then, the event ended with the door prize draw.
