KARA wins an award from Indonesia Best Brand 2022. This award is an appreciation for brands that excel and are able to maintain their position in market competition. KARA Indonesia won the award for the coconut milk product category. The award was given on Wednesday, 30^th November 2022 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta. Initiated by SWA and in collaboration with MARS Digital, this event is held in a hybrid.

Sambu Group through PT Pulau Sambu has won the prestigious Indonesia Living Legend Companies 2022 Award. Welcoming its 55^th Year, Sambu Group is increasingly proving its work by receiving this prestigious award. The award initiated y SWA Media Group virtually.

The world is currently facing an economic crisis. While the economic crisis due the Covid-19 has not ended yet, now we are faced with a food and energy crisis due to the war between Russia and Ukraine. There are no signs yet that the world economy is improving, so the crisis mentioned above has had a direct impact on the coconut industry in Indonesia and also in the world. In response to this, Sambu Group Management issued a Notification Letter signed by factory leadership and public relations on 26^th September 2022.

In the Notification Letter Number: 005/SG/22/A2.2/DA/GM-HS, it is stated that there has been a buildup of coconut derivative products (processed goods) in the company’s warehouse due to declining demand/sales in both the domestic market and the global market. So, our factory requires to adjusting the speed of the production process. By adjusting the production speed, it is necessary to also adjust the amount of absorption based on demand for all raw materials, including coconut.

Sambu Group participates in Permanent Trade Exhibition promoted by Direktorat Jenderal Pengembangan Ekspor Nasional Kementerian Perdagangan Republik Indonesia. KARA as our brand will involve in this expo for a month that starts on 22^nd September 2022. This expo will be placed in the Permanent Trade Exhibition’s room in the Main Building of Kementerian Perdagangan, Central Jakarta. Besides, there are also 159 participants in various fields.

52^nd of Musabaqah Tilawati Quran (MTQ) Indragiri Hilir is held from 22^nd-26^th June 2022. Sambu Group fully support this event because of the positive values that come along. It is great because as one of Islamic Syar’i, this event could motivate Muslim to read, understand and also carry out with devotion of the Quran constantly. During the event, Sambu Group enlivens it through build a booth in bazaar area. Variety of KARA product is shown in booth. Besides giving education to visitors, Sambu Group also sell KARA Coconut Oil with a special price during the bazaar.
