Monumen Pelopor Sejati Sambu Group was inaugurated on Monday, July 8^th 2024 at PT Riau Sakti United Plantations (PT RSUP) Plantation Division, KM 09, Kecamatan Pulau Burung, Inhil, Riau. The event with the theme of “Tribute and Commemoration of Mr Tay Juhana” took place solemnly. The activity was also attended by leaders of Kecamatan Pulau Burung, namely Inspector Delni Atma Saputra SH MH (Kapolsek Pulau Burung), and Lettu Infanteri R Ginting (Danramil Pulau Burung). Community leaders, former employees, and employees also come to the event as well.

Monumen Pelopor Sejati Sambu Group was built to commemorate and as a honor to the legacy of the late Tay Juhana’s contribution to the coocnut ecosystem. Tah Juhana also knows as a visionary and pioneer in agribusiness filed, who has brought innovation and significant changes to coconut plantation practices. Hid dedication and hard work had created jobs for thousands of people and made a major contribution to the local and national economy.

We all hope that the exixtence of this monument could be a reminder of the good example of the late Tay Juhana. This monument can also be a source of inspiration for anyone regardng the persistence, dedication, innovation and tenacity of a human being, who transformed sub-optimal land into high value added plantations. It is also hoped hat this monument can enourage the spirit of sustainable development by implementing the principles of environmental responsibility, economic prosperity and social justice, like the late Tay Juhana did.

Within Yayasan Bahtera Dwipa Abadi (YBDA), Sambu Group spread happy moments in 5 locations around the company's operational locations which cover Kecamatan Pulau Burung, Kecamatan Kateman, and Kecamatan Tanah Merah, Palembang, and also Jakarta Utara. This event is held to commemorate Eid al-Adha 1445H and we consistently deliver sacrificial animals and meat to the masses around our company. The delivery day starts on Saturday, June 15th, 2024, and ends on Wednesday, 19th 2024 in Jakarta Utara. This year we provide 21 sacrificial animals for 4 locations, and 300 packages that contained meat and Sun Kara to the community in Penjaringan, Jakarta Utara.

Sambu Group through PT Riau Sakti United Plantations (PT RSUP) gave some aid to victims of the fire that burned down houses at Dusun Mandiri and Dusun Besika Jaya, Kecamatan Pulau Burung. This activity was held on Monday, June 6th, 2024 at Posko KMI 01 Dusun Mandiri, Kecamatan Pulau Burung. Andy, as a Public Relations of Sambu Group gave the aid symbolically to the Head of District Pulau Burung, Supiansyah Spi Msi. To lighten the burden on fire victims, PT RSUP gave 34 packets of groceries to 8 families and 26 other victims. For a family, the packets include 10kg grains of rice, 2ltr cooking oil, a box of eggs, and a box of instant noodles. For individuals, the company gives packets that contain 5kg grains of rice, 1ltr cooking oil, a box of eggs, and a box of instant noodles. "There were no casualties in the incident. Kara is back in support BaliSpirit Festival 2024. As one of the biggest wellness festival, dance, and yoga in Southeast Asia, this event is initiated by Kryasta Guna Foundation. Held on May 1st-5th, 2024, this festival took place in Puri Padi Hotel and The Yoga Barn, Ubud, Bali. This year, more than 8,000 participants from around the world will unite to gain true mental and physical fitness through BaliSpirit Festival along the theme of "Come Together".

Besides sharing the goodness of coconut through Kara Coco, Kara is also involved actively with opening a booth in The Grove area main stage. Not only displaying our best coconut product, Kara also does many activities such as promotion and Wheels of Fortune that provide many interesting Kara official merchandise.

Sambu Group gave Eid Biscuit on Kateman District, Indragiri Hilir, Riau

Sambu Group along with Yayasan Bahtera Dwipa Abadi (YBDA) continues this happy tradition. Sambu Group and YBDA gave Eid biscuits around the business location of the factory in Indragiri Hilir and also in the head office (Jakarta). Eid biscuits were distributed to mass around the corporate operation. This event is started from March until the beginning of April 2024. More than 15.000 cans of Eid biscuits are distributed to Kuala Enok, Pulau Butung, and Sungai Guntung and also to Penjaringan, North Jakarta. "Eid biscuit distribution is a commitment of Sambu Group and YBDA whose target is the people around the company," said A. Ginting, Public Relations of Sambu Group. "By sharing the biscuits, we are hoping to share happiness with the masses to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr," Ginting said.
