Wonderful Indonesia Gastronomy Forum Diaspora Restaurants 2018 is an event held by the Ministry of Tourism that aims to support diaspora restaurants as the ‘face’ of Indonesian culinary and tourism. KARA Indonesia’s participation in this event was not only to introduce a variety of the latest innovative coconut processed products, such as KARA Coconut Cooking Oil, but also to meet directly with representatives of diaspora restaurants from various countries.

In 2018, Tetra Pak and Sambu Group collaboration “One Billion Packs”. More than 80% of the shipments were TCA 65 for a KARA products. This is inseparable from the Sambu Group’s efforts to provide high quality coconut supplies. Then followed by innovations developed for KARA products using packaging from Tetra Pak in the Sambu Group’s effort to expand its business.

It is undeniable that cooperation become one of the main keys for an organization is to achieve their success. Both cooperation between individuals, as well as with other organizations. Of coourse, we are very aware of this. We make the efforts in order to realize TJF’s vision, especially in increasing national and event global food security, through the development of food crop agriculture on suboptimal land.

Indonesia’s coconut commodity is currently in a fairly good condition in terms of exports. Based on data from the Ministry of Agriculture, coconut products can be exported in various forms, but still in accordance with market demand. Some of the exported coconut products include Coconut Crude Oil (CCO), CCO derivatives, Dessicated Coconut (DC), round coconut, coconut water and activated carbon.

Mercu Buana University held an Appreciation Night event with the theme of “Energy of Innovation” on October, 26th, 2018 as one of the series ro commemorate the 33rd anniversary of Universitas Mercu Buana. This event was held for the first time in order to give awards to stakeholders who have supported Universitas Mercu Buana.
