PT Riau Sakti United Plantations, in collaboration with the Bahtera Dwipa Abadi Foundation (YBDA), distributed sacrificial animals (hewan kurban) and financial aid to communities across several villages within the company’s operational areas in celebration of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah. Carrying the theme “Rooted in Faith, Sharing Amid Uncertainty,” the initiative was carried out progressively starting from May 13, 2026, across several regions in Riau Province.
The beneficiary villages included Pulau Burung Village and Ringin Jaya Village in Pulau Burung District; Sungai Emas Village and Sokoi Village in Kuala Kampar District; as well as Labuhan Bilik Village in Teluk Meranti District. For the Pulau Burung District area, the company allocated financial aid of Rp20 million to each of the two recipient villages. Meanwhile, in Kuala Kampar District, assistance in the form of four goats was distributed, with two goats each given to Sungai Emas Village and Sokoi Village. Labuhan Bilik Village also received two goats. The symbolic handover of the sacrificial animals was officially received by the Head of Pulau Burung District, Razali.
Razali expressed his high appreciation to the company for the care extended to the community through this sacrificial program. “We would like to thank Sambu Group, particularly PT RSUP and YBDA, for the assistance provided to the community. This activity is a form of social care that is expected to strengthen the good relationship between the company and the public,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the Public Relations representative of PT RSUP, Andy Ferial, remarked that this sacrificial distribution is a routine agenda for the company as part of its efforts to strengthen social bonds with the communities surrounding its operational areas. According to him, the momentum of Eid al-Adha serves as a means to foster the values of care and togetherness within the community.
“Through this activity, the company hopes to continuously maintain a harmonious relationship with the public while fostering a spirit of mutual sharing,” Andy said. Through this program, Sambu Group reaffirms its commitment to consistently be present and grow together with the community through various social and civic initiatives.
