In the spirit of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah, Sambu Group—a domestic investment company (PMDN)—through its business entity, PT Pulau Sambu in Kuala Enok, reaffirmed its commitment to corporate social responsibility by distributing sacrificial animals (hewan kurban) to communities around the company’s operational areas. This year, PT Pulau Sambu in Kuala Enok distributed seven goats to several villages and sub-districts as a form of social care and to strengthen harmonious relations with the local community.

The sacrificial animals were distributed individually, with one goat allocated each to Enok Sub-district, Tekulai Hulu Village, Rantau Panjang Village, Tanah Merah Village, Tanjung Lajau Village, Tembilahan Hulu Sub-district, and the community residing around the operational area of PT Pulau Sambu in Kuala Enok. This initiative is part of Sambu Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which is consistently implemented during every Eid al-Adha. This year’s distribution carries the theme “Rooted in Faith, Sharing Amid Uncertainty.” This theme reflects Sambu Group’s spirit to remain present and provide tangible benefits to the community, especially amidst the various economic challenges and social dynamics still felt by some.

Appreciation for the CSR initiative was expressed by the Head of Tanah Merah Village, H. Martin, S.Pd. According to him, the assistance of sacrificial animals from the company is highly beneficial for the community and serves as a tangible form of corporate care for the surrounding environment.“We express our gratitude and appreciation to PT Pulau Sambu in Kuala Enok for their attention and care toward the community. This contribution of sacrificial animals is certainly very meaningful, especially for residents in need. Hopefully, the good relationship between the company and the community will continue to be harmoniously maintained,” said H. Martin, S.Pd.
