Ahead of Idul Fitri 1447 H, Sambu Group, through its business entity PT Pulau Sambu in Kuala Enok, continues its tradition of sharing Ramadan joy by distributing thousands of tins of biscuits to the community and the underprivileged. In this year's distribution program, a total of 5,640 tins of biscuits were distributed to residents in the Kateman District and several villages within the Tanah Merah District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau. The distribution is intended not only for the general public but also for those in need, including orphanages and tahfiz (Quranic memorization) houses in Tanah Merah Village.
The distribution area covers various villages and neighborhoods, including Kuala Enok, Kampung Agas/Nyamuk, Selat Nama, Sungai Udang, Tanjung Pasir, Sungai Laut, Tanjung Baru, Tekulai Hilir, Tekulai Bugis, and Tekulai Hulu. Furthermore, assistance was channeled to social institutions such as the Ar-Raudah Orphanage and Tahfiz House, ensuring the program's benefits are felt widely across the community.
