As a form of care for the communities surrounding its operational areas, Sambu Group, through its business unit PT Pulau Sambu in Guntung and the Bahtera Dwipa Abadi Foundation (YBDA), distributed social assistance to affected residents in Concong Luar, Indragiri Hilir Regency. The handover took place on Thursday (05/03/2026), marking the company’s commitment to providing a rapid response and supporting those in need.
The assistance consisted of basic food packages (sembako) for 32 affected families. The aid was symbolically handed over to the District Head (Camat) of Concong Luar, Ahmad Bahrin, as the representative of the district government, to be further distributed to the beneficiaries. Also present at the event was the Chief of Concong Police, IPTU Anton Hilman, S.H., M.H., who expressed support for the collaborative efforts between the company and the local government.
Ahmad Bahrin, as the Head of Concong Luar District, expressed his appreciation: "We extend our gratitude and appreciation to PT Pulau Sambu in Guntung and the Bahtera Dwipa Abadi Foundation for their care and quick response in helping our affected residents. This assistance is certainly helpful and serves as a tangible form of togetherness between the company, the government, and the community."
