KARA once again achieved a brilliant accomplishment by winning the Indonesia Best Brand Award (IBBA) Platinum 2025 in the Instant Coconut Milk category. This prestigious award is proof of KARA's consistency as the primary brand of choice for Indonesian consumers, after successfully maintaining the Very Good predicate for five consecutive years in the same event.
The IBBA Platinum 2025 award was officially received on December 11, 2025, marking an important achievement for KARA amid the increasingly competitive dynamics of the coconut derivative products industry. The Platinum predicate is given to brands that have consistently maintained superior performance for five consecutive years, an achievement that reflects consumer trust and loyalty in the quality of KARA products.
The Indonesia Best Brand Award 2025 is a prestigious award event involving more than 5,000 respondents, with household respondent types and various consumer personas representing diverse preferences and consumption habits. Respondents were drawn from five major cities in Indonesia, namely Jakarta, Bandung, Medan, Surabaya, and Banjarmasin, thus providing a comprehensive picture of brand strength at the national level.
In its assessment process, IBBA 2025 used five main parameters: Top of Mind Advertising, Top of Mind Brand, Brand Share, Satisfaction, and Gain Index. These five parameters are the main benchmarks for assessing brand strength, communication effectiveness, consumer satisfaction, and the potential for future brand growth. KARA's excellence across all these parameters reinforces its position as the market leader for instant coconut milk in Indonesia.
The Corporate Communication Manager of Sambu Group, Dwianto Arif Wibowo, stated that this award is the result of the collaboration of all coconut ecosystems that are present and mutually synergistic. “The Indonesia Best Brand Award Platinum 2025 is a validation of KARA's commitment to maintaining product quality, consistency, and relevance amid continuously evolving consumer needs. The momentum of the IBBA Platinum 2025 victory also has special significance as it coincides with the 58th Anniversary of Sambu Group, a Domestic Investment Company (PMDN) that is the producer of KARA.
