In the spirit of Eid al-Adha 1446 H, Sambu Group, through its business unit in Tanah Merah District, PT Pulau Sambu in Kuala Enok, along with Yayasan Bahtera Dwipa Abadi, once again distributed sacrificial animals to the surrounding community. This year, Sambu Group distributed 7 goats to various areas, including Tekulai Village, Enok, Pengalehan, Tanah Merah, Tanjung Lajau, Tembilahan Hulu, and others.

"This distribution of sacrificial animals is a form of our concern for the community, as well as a contribution to strengthening social ties with local residents," said A. Ginting, Public Relations of Sambu Group. "Our Eid al-Adha theme this year is 'Weaving Silaturahmi, Strengthening Sincerity in Care.' This serves as a reminder to all of us about the importance of strengthening brotherhood and helping each other in facing economic and social challenges."

As a Domestic Investment company that has long been present and contributed to regional development, Sambu Group is committed to playing a role not only in economic development but also in social community development. This distribution of sacrificial animals is not merely an annual tradition but also a manifestation of Islamic values that teach the meaning of sincerity in sacrifice.

Eid al-Adha is not just about sacrificing animals, but also about sacrificing ego, greed, and individualistic attitudes that often divide society. Through the spirit of sacrifice, Muslims are taught to share blessings, unite hearts, and strengthen gratitude for all the blessings given by Allah SWT.

In the context of current society, where economic and social challenges are becoming more complex, the values of silaturahmi (kinship/fellowship), gotong royong (mutual cooperation), and solidarity become increasingly important. PT Pulau Sambu in Kuala Enok hopes that through this program, the sense of togetherness will be further fostered, enabling the community to support each other, cooperate, and rise together in facing various challenges.

"We want this Eid al-Adha moment to be a bridge to strengthen social relationships built on mutual trust. Because with togetherness and sincerity, we can face all difficulties better," added A. Ginting. This distribution of sacrificial animals is also a tangible form of PT Pulau Sambu in Kuala Enok's concern for the welfare of the community in its operational areas. By distributing goats in various villages, it is hoped that the benefits of the sacrifice can be felt more evenly by the community.

Through this activity, Sambu Group reaffirms its commitment to being part of the solution, not only in economic aspects but also social, in accordance with Islamic values that emphasize the importance of sincerity and silaturahmi in community life.
