During Eid al-Adha 1446 H, Sambu Group, through its business unit PT Pulau Sambu in Guntung, along with Yayasan Bahtera Dwipa Abada (YBDA), once again carried out the distribution of sacrificial animals in the areas surrounding the company's operations. A total of 7 cows and 11 goats were distributed, with the activity commencing on June 3, 2025.
A. Ginting, Public Relations of Sambu Group, stated that with the theme “Weaving Silaturahmi, Strengthening Sincerity in Care,” we invite Muslims to make Eid al-Adha a moment to strengthen ties of kinship with family, friends, and the surrounding community, and to reinforce the value of sincerity in every form of care manifested through the act of sacrifice and the spirit of sharing.
This is important so that every good deed done with sincere intention can strengthen brotherhood and solidarity in society. Thus, the spirit of silaturahmi (kinship/fellowship) and sincerity become important pillars in building harmonious and meaningful social relationships, relevant to the current societal conditions that require strong social networks, mutual trust, gotong royong (mutual cooperation), and solidarity to collectively rise and face economic and social challenges.
This year's sacrifice activity is not only a form of gratitude but also a manifestation of Sambu Group's commitment to be present and share with the surrounding community. Through this activity, the good relationship between the company and the community can become even stronger, and it will strengthen solidarity amidst the challenging current situation.
The distribution of sacrificial animals took place in Dusun 1, Air Tawar Village, consisting of 2 goats and 1 cow, which were symbolically handed over to Nopriady, the Village Secretary of Air Tawar, representing the Head of Air Tawar Village.
Through this activity, PT Pulau Sambu in Guntung and YBDA hope to foster awareness that every good deed done with sincere intention will strengthen brotherhood and solidarity in society.
In line with the adopted theme, it is hoped that the community can strengthen social relationship networks based on mutual trust, gotong royong, and solidarity, so that they can support each other, cooperate, and rise together to face various challenges.
A. Ginting added, "This spirit of sharing is a tangible form of Sambu Group's concern for the surrounding community, and it is hoped that it can provide benefits for those in need while fostering a stronger sense of togetherness!"
