Sambu Group, a domestic investment company (PMDN), through its business unit PT Riau Sakti United Plantations (PT RSUP), received the award for Best Importer-Exporter at the annual awards ceremony organized by the Directorate General of Customs and Excise (DJBC). PT RSUP, located in Pulau Burung District, Indragiri Hilir, Riau, received this recognition for its outstanding contribution to maintaining compliance standards and strengthening its partnership with DJBC.
The awards ceremony took place at the DJBC Headquarters in Rawamangun, East Jakarta, on Tuesday, May 20, 2025. The award was presented directly by Susila Brata, the Director of Customs Technical Affairs, Customs and Excise, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. The event was attended by stakeholders from various industrial and trade sectors. This award signifies the recognition of Sambu Group's consistent practice of safe, efficient, and internationally compliant export-import operations through the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) scheme.
The AEO program is a global scheme granted to companies with a high level of compliance with customs regulations and a reliable internal control system. In this regard, PT RSUP was recognized for successfully implementing these principles consistently and professionally in its operations.
