Sambu Group, a domestic investment (PMDN) company, through its PT Riau Sakti United Plantations Industry division, once again held a commemoration of the National Occupational Health and Safety (K3) month in 2025. This activity, which is nationally commemorated from January 12 to February 12, 2025, is internally managed by the Occupational Health and Safety Supervisory Committee (P2K3) of PT Riau Sakti United Plantations.
The national theme for the 2025 National K3 Month is "Strengthening Human Resource Capacity in Supporting the Implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (SMK3) to Increase Productivity." Meanwhile, at the commemoration of the 2025 National K3 Month, PT Riau Sakti United Plantations raised the theme "Staying Strong in Implementing K3 Culture So We Can Grow Together," which is certainly still in line with Sambu Group's 57th anniversary theme, namely "Rooted Strong and Growing Together."
"As an integrated coconut processing industry, K3 is an important thing to always implement in the company's area in daily life. It should be noted that K3 is the company's top priority to ensure the welfare and safety of all employees," said Rusdam, HSE of PT Riau Sakti United Plantations.
As part of the commemoration of the 2025 National K3 Month, PT RSUP also held various activities and competitions to increase employee awareness and skills in work safety aspects. One of them is the Safety Briefing and Fire Fighting Competition. "The Safety Briefing Competition aims to train employees in providing clear and effective safety briefings before starting work, while the Fire Fighting Competition aims to hone skills in dealing with fire emergency situations in the work environment. With this competition, the company hopes to create a workforce that is more responsive and aware of the importance of safety in the workplace," explained Rusdam.
Through a series of K3 activities that are routinely held every year, PT Riau Sakti United Plantations Industry division will always be committed to making K3 a daily culture so that it can become a good habit for every element. "With the K3 Month commemoration event, PT Riau Sakti United Plantations hopes that all employees and workers can understand the importance of K3 (Occupational Health and Safety) in the workplace and be able to implement K3 in their daily lives so that it can provide comprehensive benefits," concluded Rusdam.
