Sambu Group once again shared its joy with coconut farmers in Indragiri Hilir as part of its 57th-anniversary celebration. Similar to previous years, appreciation was shown through the distribution of various door prizes, with the grand prize being a Honda Revo Fit motorcycle. This door prize distribution was conducted as a form of Sambu Group's concern for coconut farmers.Sambu Group has an interdependent relationship with coconut farmers. Thus, it can be said that Sambu Group's achievements to date cannot be separated from the results of strong collaboration with coconut farmers, especially those in Indragiri Hilir, Riau, where Sambu Group's factory is located. "The relationship between Sambu Group and coconut farmers is very special. In short, they cannot be separated and support each other. Like a symbiotic mutualism, we also call this relationship an interdependent relationship," said Dwianto Arif, Corporate Communication Manager of Sambu Group.
"Up until this year, more than 40 collection points have been operated to facilitate interactions between coconut farmers and the company in terms of coconut purchases," continued Dwianto Arif. With the increasing number of collection points, Sambu Group hopes that this can provide many benefits to coconut farmers. This year, a total of 80 prizes were raffled simultaneously on November 22, 2024. The drawing was conducted centrally at PT RSUP Division of Industry, Pulau Burung, Indragiri Hilir, Riau. The door prize draw was intended for coconut farmers, both at collection points and their relations throughout the Indragiri Hilir region. The draw was conducted online and could be followed live via Zoom Meeting or YouTube live streaming by collection points and coconut farmers. The grand prize of a Revo Fit motorcycle was won by Surya Putra, a coconut farmer from the Teluk Lanjut collection point. The prize was presented by the Sambu Group's 57th-anniversary committee on November 26, 2024.
