"Sambu Group's 57th Anniversary celebration was once again held in a hybrid format. The event was centered at the Kobexindo Tower in Jakarta on Thursday, December 5, 2024. Similar to previous years, the event was live-streamed on Zoom Meeting and YouTube. Not only was the live broadcast attended by internal members of Sambu Group, but it was also enjoyed by external parties such as coconut farmers in Indragiri Hilir.
"This year, we have chosen the theme 'Rooted Strong and Growing Together' to celebrate Sambu Group's 57th anniversary. At this increasingly mature age, we hope to always appreciate our traditions and strengthen the company's foundations so that we can grow together and become even better," said Dwianto Aif Wibowo, Corporate Communication Manager of Sambu Group.
To commemorate the 57th anniversary, Sambu Group has held several competitions for its employees, namely a futsal tournament between business locations and a short film competition. Both competitions were enthusiastically participated in by Sambu Group employees. The futsal tournament was centered in two business locations, PT Pulau Sambu (Guntung) and PT RSUP (Industri) in Pulau Burung. The winner of the futsal tournament was PT Pulau Sambu in Guntung, while the runner-up was the team from PT RSUP (Industri). For the short film competition, Sambu Group invited Indonesian filmmakers and film lecturer Servo Caesar Prayoga as a judge. The winner of the short film competition was PT Riau Sakti United Plantations, the Industry division.
In addition, to provide entertainment for the participants and invited guests, the Sambu Group anniversary celebration was also enlivened by a special appearance from comedian, Ridwan Remin (Champion of Stand Up Comedy Indonesia (SUCI) season 7 Kompas TV). Dwianto Arif added, "This event is not only a celebration, but also a deep appreciation of the long journey to strengthen Sambu Group's vision for the next year, and it is worth preserving on a continuous basis. Hopefully, this good tradition can always be maintained and applied in everyday business operations at Sambu Group. In this way, Sambu Group and the people around it can grow and develop together, bringing goodness to others."
