In early 2021, KARA gets to receive the Top Brand award for the category of ready-to-use packaged coconut milk and nata de coco products. The award was handed over directly by Handi Irawan, CEO of Frontier Group also as the initiator of Top Brand Indonesia. On behalf of KARA, Martin Jimi, Marketing Director of PT Kara Santan Pertama shares this good news as the commitment to serve only the best coconut product in the market.

The floating port in Kuala Enok has been launched by the Regent of Indragiri Hilir (Inhil), H M Wardan. After previously experiencing a disaster that caused the sinking of the dock owned by the Inhil Regency Transportation Service. Wardan appreciated the Sambu Group through PT Pulau Sambu in Kuala Enok to restore the port soon after the incident took part.

On 14 January 2021, Pulau Sambu Singapore Pte Ltd donated $30,000 to the Sayang Sayang Fund by The Community Foundation of Singapore. Mr Henry Fok, GM of Pulau Sambu Singapore Pte Ltd said: “In line with our corporate value of Social Inclusion, we hope our contribution to Sayang Sayang Fund will help those adversely affected by the pandemic.”
